Software Developer, UH Integrated Vehicle Research

I was the primary software developer for a research project on integrated vehicle technology. My responsibilities included software development and testing, hardware configuration and setup, project planning, hiring, and onboarding. I constantly had to learn new languages, frameworks, and tech stacks for this project.

COO, Board Member, Technology Outreach Hawaii

I am the Chief Operations Officer of Technology Outreach Hawaii (TORCH), a local nonprofit with the goal of guiding Hawaii towards confidence in being users and/or creators of technology while empowering youth. As COO, I am responsible for the organization of TORCH’s live coding events and workshops, as well as weekly meetings with our project managers.

President, Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Programming and Algorithms (PANDA) Club

The Programming and Algorithms club is a special interest group of the Manoa branch of the nationally recognized Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). The club’s goal is to help students develop the algorithmic problem solving skills needed to succeed in the field of computer science. I taught the data structure skills needed to solve algorithmic problems every week, as well as led weekly officer meetings and special events.
